Frank Campanella, American (1918-2016)

Campanella was born in Brooklyn, New York and is known for his New Jersey landscapes and portraits, in oils, pastels, and charcoal. He attended the Art Students League, New York studying fine arts for three years then studied at the National Academy of Design, New York. In 1953 he was awarded the Tiffany Traveling scholarship from the National Academy.

Campanella is known for sketching on the Asbury Park Boardwalk in New Jersey during the early 1980s and for his work in Sandy Hook, New Jersey.
