Expected wear for age; late 19th century. Missing handle could be replaced with leather belt or recreated by leather expert. Visible wear on exterior leather throughout; no visible dry rot. Interior looks very good. Minor wear. Hand stitched means there are imperfections which is natural in antique hand made goods.
